BACKGROUND
Maria A. Lambrias is a distinguished piano instructor with a wealth of experience in both performance and pedagogy. She began her formal training at an early age, demonstrating exceptional musical talent, which led to her pursuit of advanced studies in Piano Performance and Musicology. Maria holds a BMus (Hons) Degree which she completed in 2019, concentrating on Rachmaninoff's piano works. She completed her Research MMus degree in 2020, specializing in French Musical Exoticism and Orientalism.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, and raised in Cyprus, Maria developed a diverse musical background, curated from Classical training/pedagogy, Jazz improvisation, Greek folk/traditional music, Pop, and Broadway. Although Maria earned her Bachelor’s degree (BMus) in piano performance specializing in classical technique, she thoroughly enjoys accompanying soloists and ensembles, playing Jazz, Tango, or Disney music.

Maria holds an MMus in Musicology, BMus (Hons) in Piano Performance and Musicology, ABRSM Grade 8 Piano, ABRSM Grade 7 Music Theory, Trinity Grade 5 Voice, and is a member of the ISM.
